Dear Ms. Sudberg and the Members of the North Shore Hebrew Academy Chamber Choir:
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County, Steven Leventhal (President of the Nassau County Bar Association), Justice Thomas Adams (the Administrative Judge for the Nassau County Courts), Chief Clerk Katherine Hopkins, and the 15 Nassau County Judges who attended the Yom Hashoah commemoration and the unveiling of the international exhibit about Jewish attorneys in Germany under the Third Reich, “Lawyers Without Rights,” we thank you for your stirring and inspirational renditions of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “Hatikva.” Your presence and spirit not only set the tone for this important event, but also demonstrated to people of all faiths in attendance about the quality and excellence of NSHA, as well as the strength and continuity of the Jewish people. Everyone was very moved by your performance.
Once again, thank you.
Judge Gary F. Knobel
Member of the Board of Directors
