Our library is a beautiful setting, full of natural light and ample seating, designed for reading, studying, and browsing. Students and teachers are encouraged to come to the library during their free periods and after school. Instruction in research techniques is provided for students by our expert certified Librarian.

Our collection of materials in both General Studies and Judaica is constantly growing to fill the needs and reflect the interests of our student body. In addition, we now have an extensive online library called OverDrive e-books that you can use from almost any device.  (see below)

The North Shore Hebrew Academy High School Library has been recognized by the New York State Education Commission as an “Electronic Doorway Library,” in the Advanced Level category, for its use of computers and telecommunications technology to provide electronic library services. As an electronic doorway library, our library is going beyond its walls to obtain information and resources and working to provide new ways of assembling, evaluating and using information.

Introducing...OverDrive e-books
Reading enjoyment just got more enjoyable! The days of lugging around heavy books is over!

Our new OverDrive e-book website just went live and is ready to be used by  both students and faculty. You can check out and read books on your phones, tablets, computers, and other devices. Just think, you can read on the bus, on a plane, on your break - the opportunities for reading are endless and now so easy! Gotta love the 21st century.
