On July 27, 2016, the New York Times reported on the multicultural nature of living in Great Neck. The article articulates the cost of real estate, activities to do, the commute to the city and the success of the schools in the area. North Shore Hebrew Academy’s SAT scores exceeded that of both public schools in the district, as well as national and state averages. SAT scores for 2015 were 627 in reading (NYS avg 489), 659 in math (NYS avg 502) and 637 in writing (NYS avg 478).
